We are asking you to join us in our unique way of changing the world through education.
The School of Innovative Learning specializes in finding the unique talents and gifts of each child. By recognizing the gifts and talents of children we strengthen the potential that the next generation has to offer. By empowering young people, we create potential for their futures, and for the future of society.
The School of Innovative Learning provides the best that education has to offer, by placing students in an environment where they can:
- Apply interests, knowledge, creative ideas, and task commitment to a self-selected area of study.
- Acquire advanced-level understanding of the knowledge that are used within disciplines, artistic areas of expression, and interdisciplinary studies.
- Develop authentic products that are primarily directed toward bringing about a desired impact upon a specified audience.
- Develop self-directed learning skills in the areas of planning, organization, resource utilization, time management, decision making, and self-evaluation.
- Develop task commitment, self-confidence, and feelings of creative accomplishment (Renzulli, Reis 15).
Community, parents, and experts in their fields of study are all integral pieces of the school’s character, foundation, and growth. These tools enable students to self-discover, and to find out how to reach out to give back, and how to enter the world, every day, with the gifts that they would like to share.
By the end of the day at The School of Innovative Learning, all students will say that we, as their facilitators in education, understand them, and that we are helping them to find out what they love to do, and at what topics, subjects, ideas they would like to invest their time, energy, and gain expertise.
They will say that they can’t wait to come back tomorrow.
We are looking for philanthropists, like you, who are willing to invest in the future of our children.
We hope that you will support us through a tax-deductible contribution to The School of Innovative Learning.
Thank you for your time,
